Computerized, continuous line stitching from edge to edge. Stitching includes the cost of needles and all thread. The price is determined by the size of the quilt. The charge $.025 per square inch. 

EX:  60" x 80" x $.025= $120.00

Minimum charge of $50.

All backing must be 5" longer than the quilt top on all 4 sides. The backing should be pressed before shipping. If there is a seam in the backing, be certain to press it flat. Trim all loose threads.

EX: 60" x 80" top should have 70" x 90" backing

There are 5 binding options.

#1 -Quilt returned without binding.

#2 -Client sends prepared 2.5" binding strips. The binding will be attached to the quilt front by machine. Client will attach binding to the back.

             -$ .15 per linear inch.

#3 -Client sends prepared 2.5" binding strips. The binding will be attached to the quilt front and back by machine.

           - $. 20 per linear inch.

#4 -Client sends prepared 2.5" binding strips. The binding will be attached to the quilt front by machine. Hand stitching of binding to back of quilt.

            -$ .30 per linear inch.

#5 - Client sends the proper amount of fabric for binding the quilt. The binding will be cut, pressed, sewn, attached to quilt front by machine, and hand sewn to back of quilt. 

            -$ .35 per linear inch.

EX:

60"x 4 sides = 240" x $ .15 or .20 or .30  or .35 =

My location is in Sioux City, Iowa, USA. Local drop offs and pick ups are welcome. Long distance quilts are accepted as well.

Postage fees are the client's responsibility.  Suggestion:  UPS or USPS, tracking and insurance are available.

When finished, the quilt will be wrapped in plastic to protect from moisture. It will be shipped through the same carrier that sent the package. The exact postage cost will be added to the invoice. 

Suggestion:  purchasing return insurance for your package.

Because the quilting is computerized, there are many digital designs from which to choose. I will be happy to assist in a good choice for your particular quilt.

Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price. I charge per linear inch. This is  computed by the smallest side of quilt plus 5".

EX:  A 60" x 80" quilt will need 65" of batting.

Quilter's Dream batting is  available to purchase for your quilt. 

-80/20% Cotton/polyester for  $0.42 per linear inch.

-100% deluxe cotton for  $0.62 per linear inch.  -Wool batting is available upon request.

The client may send their own high quality batting. This batting must be 2.5" longer on each side of quilt.

-Square the quilt to prevent puckers and waves.

-Press quilt top and back.

-Trim all loose threads.

-Extra charges could be added for:  fixing seams, pressing, trimming, or squaring.

-Additional work charge:  $7.50 per 1/2 hour

-Backing must be 5" longer on all 4 sides.

EX: 60"x 80" quilt top - the backing should measure 70"x 90". This is necessary to load the machine properly.

-Mark the top center of quilt front and back with safety pins.

-Place your quilt items in a plastic bag for moisture protection before placing in the shipping box.

Quilts are loaded and quilted in the order they are received. When finished, photos will be texted to client.  Two emails will be sent - one with the invoice and the second with a link to pay the invoice. Once the invoice is paid, the quilt will be shipped.

I am required by the State of Iowa to collect 7% sales tax on my quilting services.
